Time is a flat circle, and so is my fashion sense, apparently. It's one of those things that you know intellectually, at least if you're a halfway observant human: everything old is new again, all fashion trends, no matter how ridiculous, will come back someday. But until you actually live through a cycle of this or two, you don't really know it, ya dig? Like, 90s me hated everything about 80s fashion, then Aughts me not only was amazed to see 80s stuff coming back, but to even like some of it. Not only had fashion changed, my own perception of what was cool had changed. So now I can look back on what I was into in the 2010s and not only make fun of it, but understand that at some point I will probably like that stuff again. I mean, hell, I still rarely wear socks.
